Amorfast (Amorufasuto) <Cellulose Amorphization>

Improving enzyme reactivity! Achieving eco-friendly and highly efficient biomass pretreatment.

"Amorfast" is a technology that instantaneously amorphizes cellulose without the need for water. Amorphization refers to the transformation of raw, hard cellulose into a soft and highly reactive state. The Amorfast treatment, which performs amorphization simultaneously with grinding, shows a higher cellulase digestion rate compared to grinding alone, even at the same particle size, thereby increasing the efficiency of the enzymatic saccharification reaction and contributing to improved productivity and cost reduction. 【Eco-friendly and Highly Efficient Biomass Pretreatment】 Compared to conventional pretreatment methods that use harsh conditions such as acids, alkalis, high temperatures, and high pressures, Amorfast operates "without chemicals, at temperatures below 120°C or at room temperature," achieving low environmental impact and high economic efficiency. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Conductive Diamond Technology] Pre-treatment for Resin Plating

Chrome-free, heavy metal-free resin plating pretreatment technology

We would like to introduce a case study of conductive diamond technology that has realized an alternative to chromic acid used in the plating process of automotive parts. Car front grilles, door knobs, and other components are plated on resin, but resin does not conduct electricity and cannot undergo electroplating. Chromic acid is used to dissolve (etch) the resin, fix the catalytic metal, and perform the plating process. This technology uses a solution electrolyzed with a diamond electrode from a sulfuric acid solution, making it a clean and environmentally friendly alternative technology that does not involve toxicity or waste. Additionally, the sulfuric acid solution can be reused, reducing wastewater. [Case Overview] - Dissolves (etches) resin with chromic acid, fixes catalytic metal, and performs plating. - Expected as a clean and environmentally friendly alternative technology that does not use chromic acid. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
